Bojan Gagić, Two Seconds*
“Two Seconds” from the title of the installation by multimedia artist Bojan Gagić, that MBZ presents in collaboration with the Ilica Q'art Project, refers to the delay interval: a visitor sits in a chair inside and looks outside, through the shop window, while listening to the outside sound through the headphones, but with a two-second delay between the sound and the picture. Gagić’s premise is the idea that our emotional experience of our world is primarily auditory, but also that we are “held up by the picture,” that is we are “held up by ourselves” in our difficult daily lives.
