Tales that Resonate, a pop-up exhibition created in collaboration with the Museum of Broken Relationships and Music Biennale Zagreb, explores the echoes of love and loss through personal stories of breakups connected to music and sound. All types of relationships, including our relationship with music, leave traces – sonic, emotional, and material fragments that continue to shape us in unexpected ways.
A song can carry the weight of past love, a familiar sound can reopen wounds or bring comfort, and an object can absorb emotions that are hard to express in words. This exhibition explores the sounds that often accompany our most intimate moments, leaving an imprint on the ups and downs of love and loss. The pain of loss is ever-changing – it lingers, distorts, fades, and reappears, constantly shaping our emotions and echoing through them in unexpected ways.
This pop-up exhibition will be open from March 20 to April 20 at the Museum of Broken Relationships, Ćirilometodska 2, Zagreb.
Entry fee for the exibition is included as part of the Museum's regular ticket.
