MBZ Late Night: re/fraction
scapegoat & Sara SalamonAn Australian duo and a Croatian visual artist meet for the first time to prepare an immersive performance – perception turns fluid in the interplay of image and sound.
This performance, as well as this text, are still in the making. While we iron out the final details, take a peek at the rest of our program!
///
Sara Salamon in her work often eschews the medium, finding inspiration in collective wilderness and elusive reality. She is active in the fields of different artistic practices as a visual artist, videographer and editor. She was awarded for collaborative artwork at the 55th Zagreb Salon alongside Sven Sorić, Tin Dožić and Hrvoje Spudić for creating our visual identity.
Experimental duo scapegoat consists of Australian saxophonist Joshua Hyde and Canadian percussionist Noam Bierstone. Their programs challenge audience expectations and open up a space for new experiences. They perform original works featuring electronics, sonic and visual amplification, video, lighting design, and improvisation.
