Trokut at 31st MBZ

The Šumovi protiv valova (Noises Against Waves) band have had to cancel their Biennale appearance, due to other commitments, but the MBZ is very happy to announce that Trokut will perform in that slot, on July 17th, at 8:30 PM at the Močvara Club. Formed as an electronic jazz quintet at the Music and Performing Arts School in Graz (Austria), for their Biennale concert, Trokut (Triangle) will make an exception and perform as a quartet, comprising Jaka Arh on tenor saxophone, effects and electronics, Luka Čapeta on electric guitar, Hrvoje Kralj on electric bass guitar and Jerko Jurin on drums. The band's repertoire consists of their original music and improvisations inspired by contemporary jazz and different sub-genres of electronic and rock music. Their album Shapeless from 2020 has been nominated for the “Porin” award, and the band was nominated in the Jazz&Off category of the “Rock&Off Award”.
