Submissions of ISCM Croatian Section for the WNMD Austria and Slovakia 2013
ISCM Slovak and Austrian sections (http://www.iscmwnmd2013.org/) will together organize and host the World (New) Music Days of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) in 2013. In that way this prestige festival, that is held since 1923 in music and culture centres all over the world from Salzburg and London to Sydney and Hong Kong, will host more than 50 composers whose music will be performed in Košice, Bratislava and Vienna.
For this occasion the jury of Croatian Section (Sanja Raca, Jana Haluza and Mladen Tarbuk) selected 6 compositions that are sent to international jury for the selection in WNMD 2013 programme, from which min. 1 composition will be selected. Jury followed the Categories and Norms from the Call for Works 2013, but with these 6 Croatian submissions it also tried to represent the entire diapason of the latest Croatian compositional output.
