The most prominent guest of the 2007 Biennale - Krzysztof Penderecki,

The most prominent guest of the 2007 Music Biennale was the Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki.

He conducted a performance of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra on April 27, and six of his compositions were included in the festival programme, which are as follows:

- Sextet for violin, viola, violoncello, clarinet, horn and piano (19 April),

- Divertimento for solo violoncello (25 April),

- II. String Quartet (26 April),

- Quartet for clarinet, violin, viola and violoncello arranged for saxophone quartet (26 April),

- Adagio, IV. Symphony for large orchestra (27 April),

- Concerto grosso for three violoncellos and orchestra (27 April).
