Maestro Penderecki again in Zagreb next year!
The composer and conductor Krzysztof Penderecki again participates in the Biennale: he will conduct the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra which will perform his Concerto for horn - with the soloist Radovan Vlatković, one of the most successful and world-renowned Croatian musicians - as well as a new piece by Srećko Bradić, commissioned by the Zagreb Philharmonics, and two works chosen by the jury of the World New Music Days. The concert will be held on Friday, 15 April 2011, in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.
Krzysztof Penderecki is a frequent guest artist at the stages in Croatia and at the Music Biennale Zagreb. He was the most prominent guest composer of the 2007 Music Biennale.
