Music Biennale Zagreb 2011 at music scenes outside of Zagreb

The MBZ anniversary edition continues to premiere musical theatre pieces.This time we are dealing with five new pieces by Croatian authors to be performed in the four Croatian national theatres. The Zagreb National Theatre and the Varaždin National Theatre will show  new ballets by young Croatian composers; the Split National Theatre will present an opera after a Croatian novel that has already been adapted for a successful Croatian film; the Rijeka Theatre will present an „opera for the big ones and the little ones" after a work by the most famous Croatian fairy tale author; and the Osijek theatre is preparing a new work as well.
