MBZ Press Conference April the 16th 2009/HDS

On the first press conference day before the Music Biennale Zagreb opening organized in the Croatian Composers' Society Hall there were Berislav Šipuš (MBZ Artistic Director), Srećko Bradić (composer of the new opera Crux Dissimulata), Ivan Vidić (libretist of the opera Crux Dissimulata), Krešimir Dolenčić (stage director of the opera Crux Dissimulata), Zoran Juranić (conductor of the opera Crux Dissimulata), Petar Milat (Process-Music project producer), Antun Tomislav Šaban (croatian candidate of the international conference RE:NEW Music), and two members of the Fanny&Alexander Theatre - Mirto Baliani (composer and music leader of the musical piece South) and Luigi de Angelis (one of the authors of the musical piece South).

In the end Mirto Baliani made a vivid demonstration of unusual musical instruments named Hang (a steal drum with a hole in the bottom) and Harmonic Whirlies (plastic tubes of different shapes) which will be used in "South" performance.
